Unitarian Universalists on Cape Cod will gather with others on New Years Day (January 1st) for an environmental justice discussion and a holiday walk around Eel Pond in Wood Hole. The theme for the year 2008 is "Energy, Peace, Justice." All people are invited.

A community discussion about environmental justice issues starts at 11:00 at the Woods Hole Community Hall. At noon, people move outdoors for a festive walk through the village and down to the ocean's edge. Families toast each other and their environment with non-alcoholic beverages.

The Dances of Universal Peace are joyous and meditative circle dances honoring the spiritual traditions of the world. The dances use simple folk movements along with songs and chants from the world's sacred traditions. All the dances are taught during the session so no prior experience is necessary. All are welcome!!!
