The Dances of Universal Peace are joyous and meditative circle dances honoring the spiritual traditions of the world. The dances use simple folk movements along with songs and chants from the world's sacred traditions. All the dances are taught during the session so no prior experience is necessary. Independent media super-star, Amy Goodman, and her brother, independent journalist David Goodman, visit Boston on their 2008 tour for their new book “Standing up to the Madness: Ordinary Heroes in Extraordinary Times.” The co-authors will be sharing their experiences documenting grassroots movements for peace, justice and the environment all across the country.
