The Unitarian Church of Barnstable is commemorating the anniversary of
Hurricane Katrina with a potluck dinner\, movie\, and discussion on Friday\,
August 27th\, at 6pm. We'll show the
UUSC/UUA film\, *Rebuilding the Gulf Coast\,* and follow with a discussion on
how Hurricane Katrina affected us here on the Cape and how we can make sure
that vulnerable populations on the Cape are not left behind in the wake of
future disasters. Everyone is welcome!

On August 29th\, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Falmouth will
sponsor a community meeting to remember the Hurricane Katrina anniversary. We'll show some DVDs that
address the BP oil spill mess and the rebuilding of New Orleans. Then\, we'll ask again\, \\"How
can we be helpful?\\"
(We hope to send a team of volunteers to work with Unitarian Universalists
in New Orleans. Assistance has been requested\, repeatedly\, for almost
five years\, so we know that help is wanted and needed.)
