End Mass Incarceration and Fund Job Creation
Thursday, April 3 from 7 to 8:30 pm
First Unitarian Church of Jamaica Plain
The Jobs Not Jails campaign, part of a national movement to end mass incarceration, is calling on the state to stop construction of new prisons and redirect the money saved into jobs programs. The campaign will present Jobs Not Jails petitions to the legislature at a rally on the Boston Common on April 26. We need your help in collecting 10,000 signatures before then!
Join us to learn more on April 3 with Josh Beardsley of EPOCA (Ex-Prisoners and Prisoners Organizing for Community Advancement), Andrea James of Families for Justice as Healing, and Alex Ponte of Youth Against Mass Incarceration.
