UU Family cross country eco-documentary project

For the months of May and June 2009, the McCullough family (member of the UU Society of Grafton and Upton) will be touring the U.S. in their vegetable oil-powered VW Beetle as an eco-video travel project. They will be visiting large-scale sites like wind and solar farms, as well as new companies with potentially game-changing technologies that will be key to a sustainable future. They will also be interviewing people whose ideas and actions have inspired many to live more sustainably. Their 9-year-old son Carrick, whose award-winning eco-videos have been seen online by over 200,000 people, will narrate the videos. Their goal is to distribute their video profiles to schools nationally and online, with the mission of inspiring and empowering kids to create a renewable and sustainable future.
