CWA is cosponsoring a town hall meeting to show Congressional representatives that we support the goal of 100% clean electricity within 10 years. This event builds on the resolution recently passed by the Massachusetts State Legislature.

We invite and encourage you to be a part of this nationwide event. Nearly 200 congressional districts across 40 states will host town hall meetings, with dozens of members of Congress attending. Seven events will be held in Massachusetts on April 18, and members of the Massachusetts congressional delegation have been invited to speak.

Come show your support and bring your tough questions to the 8th District meeting, organized by the student-led group, Mass. Power Shift. Discussion will focus on the role of grassroots organizing in solving climate change. Panelists include representatives from Clean Water Action, Mass. Green Jobs Coalition, and student leaders. Thank you, and hope to see you there. For more information visit masspowershift.org.
