Sudbury - First Parish has started a series of study sessions on Peacemaking. A daunting task? Yes—but we must start somewhere. The peacemaking group will meet to discuss the first of many pertinent topics on how we humans might wage peace instead of war. Check the calendar for dates.

Duxbury - First Parish Social Justice Committee held a service at the last Martin Luther King, Jr. Sunday "We would like to offer our idea as a very easy way to have a social justice service. We read (with 2 readers) the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. You can get small booklets of the Declaration from the UUSC which we passed out and people read along with us. We used a reading on the 100th Monkey which can be found through Google, as can the Declaration. It was a very simple service to plan and have and yet very moving. has started a series."

Gardner - Dances of Universal Peace are held the second Thursday of the month from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Gardner Church, 66 Elm St.
The Dances of Universal Peace are joyous and meditative circle dances honoring the spiritual traditions of the world. The dances use simple folk movements along with songs and chants from the world's sacred traditions. All the dances are taught during the session so no prior experience is necessary. All are welcome!!!
