Sustainable South Shore's dynamic President, Judeth Van Hamm, will describe the program with the help of a power point presentation. Unitarian Universalists on Cape Cod will gather with others on New Years Day (January 1st) for an environmental justice discussion and a holiday walk around Eel Pond in Wood Hole. The theme for the year 2008 is "Energy, Peace, Justice." All people are invited.

A community discussion about environmental justice issues starts at 11:00 at the Woods Hole Community Hall. At noon, people move outdoors for a festive walk through the village and down to the ocean's edge. Families toast each other and their environment with non-alcoholic beverages.
