The Senate released their version of the PROTECT Act last Thursday. While it has some provisions to reduce police collaborations with ICE, most of the People's PROTECT Act platform did not make it in.
The senate will vote this Thursday on the bill. The People's PROTECT Act coalition is advocating for two amendments to support strengthening the final senate version of the bill. Please join us this week to support passing these amendments!
